There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Cardinals started one anyway for Deone Walker, 22 picks ahead of schedule. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
