Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jarrian Jones got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at the 222nd overall pick. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. They are betting Vidal proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
