The Commanders ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Every board in the league had Jones lower, and that gap is the story. They banked enough surplus on Phillips to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, with Dallas Turner leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
