The rest of the league will want that one back. Mello Dotson tumbling to the Commanders in pick 207 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. Reaching for Golden left real value on the table behind him.
The trade work was a quiet net positive. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
