Nobody else had Jordan Travis anywhere near pick 100. The Commanders did, by 38 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
That Davis pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
Xavier Worthy in Round 1, Pick 29 is fair value, right on his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at the Round 2 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Javon Foster at the 66th pick is the proof. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They reached a country mile for Jordan Travis at pick No. 100, and the board is aghast. The roster fit checks out.
A big swing on Ray Davis at slot 102, well ahead of any board in the building. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
