The rest of the league will want that one back. Raheim Sanders tumbling to the Commanders in the 247th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.
If Foreman pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.
Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
You do not let a linebacker like Jalon Walker reach No. 45 and blink. They did not. A minor itch, scratched.
Value with a capital V on Benjamin Morrison in pick No. 61, a genuine coup. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They will replay Tyleik Williams at the Round 3 slot for years; that is how good the value is. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Somehow JT Tuimoloau was still sitting there in Round 3, Pick 16, and they pounced on premier edge rusher value. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They robbed the room for Tai Felton here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Rylie Mills in pick 146 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. The roster fit checks out.
Tonka Hemingway at slot 225 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the interior defensive lineman. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A reach on Anthony Belton in the 236th overall pick; the board had better options right there. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Korey Foreman in pick 244 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A need, and now a little less of one.
Steal is underselling it; Raheim Sanders at the Round 7 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
