Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Campbell. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.
They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

Steal is underselling it; Jihaad Campbell at pick No. 79 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Taking Jack Bech in No. 115 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Maxwell Hairston at the Round 4 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
