The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Commanders reached some 46 spots for Taulia Tagovailoa, and value like that does not grow back. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

They banked enough surplus on Vidal to cover a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

Spending an early pick on linebacker with wide receiver and interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

In the end it comes back to Joe Alt, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
