The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Elijah Arroyo, pick No. 166, roughly 86 picks past where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 32nd overall pick they get a quarterback's worst nightmare, and a steal at that. Exactly the need they had to hit.
A top-tier interior defensive lineman at a bargain, Kenneth Grant in the 64th pick, plain and simple. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They robbed the room for Tyler Warren here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Kevin Winston Jr. in No. 129 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. The roster fit checks out.
They barely believed it either: Jared Wilson still on the board at pick No. 162. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Elijah Arroyo in slot 166 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
The board fumbled Brashard Smith all the way to the Round 5 slot, and they scooped it up. A need, and now a little less of one.
