You could see the war room lean forward. Germie Bernard at pick 85 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Cooper Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In the Round 1 slot they get a No. 1 receiver, though they paid up to get him. A clean fit for the roster.
Emmanuel Pregnon at pick No. 53 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Keionte Scott slid further than he should have, and No. 76 is lovely value for the cornerback. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
You do not let a wide receiver like Germie Bernard reach slot 85 and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Somehow Kamari Ramsey was still sitting there in Round 3, Pick 35, and they pounced on premier safety value. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Nothing to complain about; Michael Trigg went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A market-rate interior defensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Kaleb Proctor. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Good price on Drew Allar in the 161st pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They will replay Kendrick Law at pick 216 for years; that is how good the value is. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
