You build a draft on nights like this. Treydan Stukes had no business being available in the 116th overall pick, and the Seahawks did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher, linebacker and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
A reasonable price with a little left over, Brandon Cisse in pick 41. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
A wide receiver of that caliber at pick No. 79 is the definition of value, full stop. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
The board had Connor Lew higher than Round 3, Pick 32, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A tidy little value on Emmett Johnson in No. 110, a step better than break-even. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

Bud Clark in the Round 4 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
They jumped the gun on Jaeden Roberts, taking him earlier than his grade liked. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Zane Durant slid further than he should have, and the 188th overall pick is lovely value for the interior defensive lineman. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
