After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Cowboys committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.
The Briggs reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Greenfield falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
