Pick-by-Pick
In the 27th overall pick they get a wrecking ball inside. A real need, handled.
Kamren Kinchens at No. 56 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A tidy bit of business in slot 87, where Xavier Legette graded well above the range. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Tommy Eichenberg in Round 3, Pick 27, miles early. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
No edge and no loss on Christian Jones in the 137th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Jarrian Jones slid further than he should have, and pick 161 is lovely value for the cornerback. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A straight-up fair deal on Layden Robinson at the 173rd overall pick, value and slot in agreement. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Javontae Jean-Baptiste in No. 213 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Logan Lee at the Round 7 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Trey Knox at the 242nd pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
