Nobody had Thor Griffith this high, and it is not close. The Cowboys reached 96 spots to get him at the 171st overall pick.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Sanders.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th pick they get a lead back with juice at a price that makes it sweeter.
They paid sticker price for Isaiah Bond in the Round 2 slot, and that is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Chris Paul Jr. in pick 78 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
