Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Ryan Flournoy got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at Round 7, Pick 13. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Jackson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
