It is the swing that defines the weekend: Sam Hartman in pick 242, a good 41 spots before the room expected him. Call it a C- and check back in two years.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

So much rides on Dallas Turner that the real verdict is a season or two away.
