Some picks age like wine; Trey Moore at No. 170 will need to, sitting 83 spots clear of his grade. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
Landing Lawson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Nice patience on Ashton Jeanty, who had no business lasting to pick No. 11. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Jalen Royals at the 42nd pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Fair-plus on Kenneth Grant, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They will replay Sebastian Castro at Round 5, Pick 11 for years; that is how good the value is. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Amari Kight in the Round 5 slot, miles early. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
