The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Tez Johnson, slot 168, roughly 75 picks past where he belonged. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 4 they get a sticky cover corner at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
In the 12th pick they get a workhorse for the backfield, and a steal at that. A real need, handled.
Jalon Walker in the Round 2 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
