The Cowboys torched the value chart for J.J. Weaver, taking him 104 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They banked enough surplus on Winston Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. Cam Ward gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
