The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Keionte Scott, the No. 63 name on the board, sitting there at the 95th pick like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.
