The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, the No. 198 name on the board, sitting there at slot 242 like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. The Jefferson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
