Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent pick 150 on DJ Uiagalelei, a name the board had a full 125 spots lower. A weekend of give and take that grades a C.
Jaxson Dart gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Pick-by-Pick

Kyle McCord in the 76th overall pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They talked themselves into DJ Uiagalelei at Round 5, Pick 11, and the board did not agree. It fills a real need, too.
A wild overpay on Max Brosmer in the 170th pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
James Burnip at pick 172 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
