This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Ro Torrence, the No. 179 name on the board, stolen at the Round 6 slot. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Eichenberg pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
