The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Zion Logue, 70 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

That Jones pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
