Call it larceny. Shemar Stewart sat on the board until Round 2, Pick 23, and the Cowboys did not need to be asked twice.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.
With wide receiver, cornerback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 12 they get a disruptor off the edge at a price that makes it sweeter. Need was not the driver here.
