No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Cowboys.

Every other box got a look, but quarterback did not. The Cowboys will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.
The Rice reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get a blindside protector at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Brenden Rice at the 56th pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on TreVeyon Henderson. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Leonard Taylor III at slot 124 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Andru Phillips in pick 174 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Ben Bywater in No. 212 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
No edge and no loss on Steele Chambers in the Round 7 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
