When a board-topper like Keionte Scott slides to No. 92, you do not overthink it, and the Cowboys did not. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Good price on Arvell Reese in Round 1, Pick 12, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
In the 20th pick they get the heartbeat of the defense, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Circle this one: Keionte Scott at No. 92 is a fall that decides a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Connor Lew at pick No. 112 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A quiet steal in the 152nd overall pick: Jakobe Thomas for less than the market said. A minor itch, scratched.
They did well to land Reggie Virgil in slot 177, just ahead of his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Ar'maj Reed-Adams in the Round 5 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
