The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Commanders watched Quinyon Mitchell slide 81 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Everything downstream of Drake Maye depends on Drake Maye, and the building knows it. They are betting Jones proves the room right and everyone else wrong. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
