This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Tyler Nubin, the No. 30 name on the board, stolen at the 104th overall pick. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Reaching for Jordan left real value on the table behind him.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a passer to set the clock by. A clean fit for the roster.
In Round 1, Pick 27 they get a weapon on the perimeter, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
They went early on Patrick Paul in the Round 2 slot, and the value did not follow. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Taking Xavier Legette in slot 68 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

Tyler Nubin in Round 4, Pick 4 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They liked Ben Sinnott enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 136. It fills a real need, too.
Roger Rosengarten at No. 182 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jawhar Jordan this early at pick 188. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Sheridan Jones at the 229th pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A minor itch, scratched.
