You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bears did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. No fireworks, but a solid B.
On the needs board they went 1 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
