The Patriots torched the value chart for Collin Oliver, taking him 80 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. They executed a plan and it shows in the A.
Getting Helm where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.
For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.
In the end it comes back to Tetairoa McMillan, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 23 they get a go-to option on the outside, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
