They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Melton pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Pick-by-Pick
In slot 25 they get a ballhawk on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Tyler Nubin at the Round 2 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Kingsley Suamataia in pick No. 58 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Max Melton at No. 88 is the proof. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They reached a country mile for Isaiah Davis at Round 4, Pick 26, and the board is aghast. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.

They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Kalen DeLoach in pick 255. They added to a strength when a need was still open elsewhere.
