The rest of the league had time to spare on Charles Turner III; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 44 spots ahead at the 242nd pick.
Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Coleman pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
With cornerback, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In No. 26 they get a green-dot type in the middle, though they paid up to get him. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Steal is underselling it; Keon Coleman at Round 2, Pick 26 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
