They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Mason Reiger, 35 picks early at the Round 4 slot. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The back end got a real overhaul.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 12 they get a potential shutdown corner. The biggest hole, addressed.
By-the-book stuff, Sonny Styles at slot 20 squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Darrell Jackson Jr. in the Round 3 slot is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Mason Reiger this early at Round 4, Pick 12. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A premium they did not need to pay, Louis Moore a notch or two before his time. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Keagen Trost at pick No. 177 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They liked Noah Whittington enough to skip the value, taking him in slot 218. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They did well to land Andre Fuller in the 241st overall pick, just ahead of his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
