The Cowboys torched the value chart for Charles Turner III, taking him 58 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Cowboys indulged a want in Eboigbe while a need in quarterback and tight end stayed open.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
