You could see the war room lean forward. Kendrick Law at No. 232 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
The back end got a real overhaul.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th pick they get an island corner. More want than need.
Nothing to complain about; Caleb Tiernan went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Zakee Wheatley in the 93rd overall pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Taylen Green slipping to slot 207 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Kendrick Law in Round 7, Pick 16 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
No drama and no debate, Robert Henry Jr. went about where he belonged in No. 251. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A slide stopped in the Round 7 slot, with John Michael Gyllenborg worth more than the price. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
