They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Brenen Thompson, 35 picks early at the 64th pick.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
The back end got a real overhaul.
It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.

In the 32nd pick they get a ballhawk on the outside. Need was not the driver here.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Brenen Thompson this early at No. 64. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Taurean York at pick 96 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A big swing on Sawyer Robertson at the 188th overall pick, well ahead of any board in the building. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
