Call it larceny. Savion Williams sat on the board until the 170th pick, and the Cowboys did not need to be asked twice. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a home-run threat at receiver. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A slide stopped in the 44th overall pick, with Omarion Hampton worth more than the price. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Tate Ratledge in Round 3, Pick 12 is fair value, right on his grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
