They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Raiders' quarterback, full stop. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Hunter falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 9 they get the face of the franchise at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
No drama and no debate, Xavier Worthy went about where he belonged in No. 44. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Cooper Beebe in pick 77 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Leonard Taylor III at the 112th overall pick squarely in line with his ranking. It fills a real need, too.
Value with a capital V on Kamal Hadden in Round 5, Pick 14, a genuine coup. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Trey Knox slid further than he should have, and the Round 6 slot is lovely value for the tight end. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Steal is underselling it; Jontrey Hunter at slot 234 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It adds depth where they could use a little.
