The Bears spent real capital to be 80 picks early on Dasan McCullough, and the board is going to hold them to it.

The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On value alone, Hunter makes the weekend a net positive. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
