The Broncos put a flag in the ground for Taylen Green, 45 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. However the rest shakes out, Lane at that price is a win they earned. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Elijah Higgins gives the group a proven body among the projects.
