Start where it matters. The Commanders took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Rice. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Commanders paired the rookies with proven help, Quenton Nelson leading the way.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jayden Daniels and all.
