The Commanders spent the pick that matters most on Caleb Williams, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Watts pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Getting Bullock where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
