Nobody had Damon Payne Jr. this high, and it is not close. The Cowboys reached 43 spots to get him at No. 190. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Jefferson. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
