They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Fernando Mendoza is the Raiders' quarterback, full stop.

Getting McNeil-Warren where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They are betting Stephens proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
