Thirty-one other rooms let Trente Jones slide, and the Cowboys were the ones holding the card at No. 252. Highway robbery. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Watson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
