The Patriots went off the board in a big way for Davin Vann, 54 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Johnson. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Josh Downs deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
