The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jarrian Jones fell into the 200th overall pick. No fireworks, but a solid B.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
Reaching for Coker left real value on the table behind him.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In slot 3 they get a No. 1 receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
A wild overpay on Cooper Beebe in No. 46, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Kalen King in the 157th overall pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A minor itch, scratched.
Isaac Guerendo is a better player than Round 6, Pick 11 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
