The Patriots looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Gabe Jacas at slot 143 regardless, 135 picks early. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They banked enough surplus on Campbell to cover a lot of smaller sins. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
