The phones were a trap the Dolphins kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They will need Fisher to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Landing Hadden that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The Mike Williams deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
